Abstract
【解決手段】電池缶1が、底面壁11の外周縁から外周筒壁12を上向きに曲げた正極缶5と、上面壁13の外周縁から外周側壁15を下向きに曲げた負極缶6とを含む。正極缶5の外周筒壁12の上端周縁部がガスケット3を介してかしめ加工されて湾曲部12aが形成される。負極缶6の外周側壁15が、上面壁13の外周縁から下方向に張り出す拡径部16と、下方向に延びるストレート部17とを含む。正極缶5の湾曲部12aの曲率中心Oが、負極缶6の外周側壁15よりも外側に位置する。かしめ加工において正極缶5の外周筒壁12の湾曲部12aと負極缶6との間でガスケット3が最も圧縮される方向Aは、正極缶5の底面壁11に対して80〜110度に設定してある。

Claims (5)
- 発電要素を収容する電池缶が、底面壁の外周縁から外周筒壁を上向きに曲げた正極缶と、上面壁の外周縁から外周側壁を下向きに曲げた負極缶とを含み、
前記正極缶の前記外周筒壁の上端周縁部が、前記負極缶の前記外周側壁に装着されたガスケットを介してかしめ加工されることで、内向きに湾曲した湾曲部が前記外周筒壁の上端に形成されたコイン形電池において、
前記負極缶の前記外周側壁は、上面壁の外周縁から斜め下方向に段状に張り出す拡径部と、前記拡径部に連続して下方向に直線状に延びるストレート部とを含み、
前記外周筒壁の上端の前記湾曲部の曲率中心が、前記負極缶の前記外周側壁よりも外側に位置しており、
前記かしめ加工において前記正極缶の前記外周筒壁の前記湾曲部と前記負極缶との間で前記ガスケットが最も圧縮される方向が、前記正極缶の前記底面壁に対して80〜110度の傾斜範囲内に設定してあることを特徴とするコイン形電池。 - 前記負極缶の前記ストレート部は、前記拡径部に連続する内筒部と、前記内筒部の下端を前記負極缶の外方向に向かって上向きに折り返した外筒部とからなり、
前記正極缶の前記外周筒壁の前記湾曲部の曲率中心が、前記負極缶の前記ストレート部の前記外筒部よりも外側に位置している請求項1記載のコイン形電池。 - 前記正極缶の底面壁の下面から前記湾曲部の下端までの上下寸法が、前記正極缶の前記底面壁の下面から前記負極缶の前記ストレート部の上端までの上下寸法よりも大きくなるよう設定してある請求項1又は2記載のコイン形電池。
- 前記正極缶の前記外周筒壁の前記湾曲部の曲率半径が0.3〜0.6mmである請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のコイン形電池。
- 前記正極缶の前記外周筒壁の前記湾曲部の内向きの先端が、前記負極缶の前記ストレート部の内周面よりも電池の中央側に位置する請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のコイン形電池。
