Abstract
【解決手段】この電池100は、蓋体14の外側に突出した端子固定部40と、端子固定部40に被さった外装部材60を備えている。端子固定部40は、孔42を有し、電極端子30が挿通されている。外装部材60は、端子固定部40の外周面40bに被さり、端子固定部40の外周面40bの変形を規制する円筒部62(変形規制部)を備えている。また、外装部材60は、端子固定部40の先端部40aに押し当たり、端子固定部40を変形させる加圧部64を備えている。

Description
この電池は、端子固定部の先端部に外装部材の加圧部が押し当たり、端子固定部が変形している。外装部材の変形規制部によって端子固定部の外周面の変形が規制されているので、端子固定部は内側面が内径側に膨出する。これによって、端子固定部に挿通された電極端子が端子固定部に強固に固定されている。
これに対し、本実施形態に係る電池は、図1に示すように、端子固定部40に外装部材60が被せられているので、端子固定部40の外周面40bの変形を規制することができる。また、この場合、外装部材60は、端子固定部40とは材料を代え、より強度の高い材料を用いることができ、これにより、端子固定部40の外周面40bの変形をより強固に規制することができる。このため、端子固定部40が外径側に膨出するのを防止し、端子固定部40の内径側への膨出を増大させることができ、電極端子30を保持する力を増大させることができる。

Claims (10)
- 電池ケースに電極端子が挿通された状態で固定された電池であって、
前記電池ケースの外側に突出し、前記電極端子が挿通される孔を有する端子固定部と、
前記端子固定部に被さった外装部材と、
を備え、
前記外装部材は、
前記端子固定部の外周面に被さり、前記端子固定部の外周面の変形を規制する変形規制部と、
前記端子固定部の先端部に押し当たり、前記端子固定部を変形させる加圧部と、
を有する、電池。 - 前記端子固定部は筒状であり、前記端子固定部の内周と前記電極端子の外周との間にシール材が装着された、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記加圧部は、前記端子固定部の先端部の内側縁に押し当たるように外装部材に設けられている、請求項1又は2に記載の電池。
- 前記加圧部は、前記外装部材の天井部の内側に設けられた突起である、請求項1から3までの何れか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記加圧部の突起は、基端部に窪みを有する、請求項4に記載の電池。
- 前変形規制部の外周面に補強形状のパターンを有する、請求項1から5までの何れか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記変形規制部の外周面はリブを有している、請求項6に記載の電池。
- 前記外装部材と前記端子固定部とは、前記外装部材が前記端子固定部に被せられた状態で互いに係合する係合部を有する、請求項1から7までの何れか一項に記載の電池。
- 請求項1から8の何れかに記載の電池を複数個組み合わせた組電池。
- 請求項9に記載の組電池が車両用電源として搭載された車両。
