走行車体に旋回自在に旋回台が搭載され、当該旋回台に起伏自在に伸縮ブームが枢着され、当該伸縮ブーム先端に着脱可能なジブを備えた移動式クレーンのジブ着脱装置であって、
前記ジブは、前記ブーム先端に着脱可能なジブサポートと、当該ジブサポート先端にその基部を軸着されたジブ本体と、当該ジブサポートとジブ本体の適所間にその両端が軸着されたジブ起伏シリンダと、を備え、当該ジブ起伏シリンダの伸縮により前記ジブサポートに対しジブ本体が起伏動作するものであり、
前記伸縮ブーム先端下部にブーム先端下部連結部、前記ジブサポート基端下部にジブ基端下部連結部を備え、当該両連結部の相互作用により伸縮ブーム先端下部とジブサポート基端下部とを連結可能とし、さらに前記伸縮ブーム先端上部にはブーム先端上部連結部、前記ジブサポート基端上部にはジブ基端上部連結部を備え、当該両連結部の相互作用により伸縮ブーム先端上部とジブサポート基端上部とを連結可能としており、
ジブ装着にあたっては、倒伏状態の前記伸縮ブームとジブが平面視同一線上となりかつ伸縮ブーム先端下方に前記ジブサポート基端部が位置するようジブを地面上に仮置きし、伸縮ブーム先端上部から先端上方へ張り出し配置されたジブ着脱用シーブに、旋回台に配置されたウインチから繰り出されたワイヤを掛けまわし、前記ジブサポート基端上部に配置されたワイヤ中間係止部に当該ワイヤ中間部を係止し、さらにジブ本体先端に当該ワイヤ先端を係止したうえで、前記ウインチのワイヤ巻き取りにより前記ジブ本体先端部が接地したまま前記ジブサポートを伸縮ブーム先端まで引上げ、始めに前記ブーム先端下部連結部とジブ基端下部連結部を連結し、次にジブ本体先端を接地したまま前記ジブ起伏シリンダを伸縮動作することにより前記ジブ基端下部連結部を中心として前記ジブ基端上部連結部が前記ブーム先端上部連結部に接近するよう前記ジブサポートを回転させるにあたって、前記ジブ起伏シリンダの伸縮動作の前に前記ウインチに設けられたワイヤ繰出量検出手段からのワイヤ繰出量が所定量以上検出されていないときは、前記ジブ起伏シリンダの伸縮動作が規制されることを特徴とする移動式クレーンのジブ着脱装置。
