Abstract
【解決手段】リチウム二次電池1は、電池本体2と、電池本体2に接触する電解液保持体3と、電池本体2及び電解液保持体3をまとめて被覆する被覆体4とを有している。電池本体2は、正極と、負極と、正極及び負極間に配置されたセパレータと、セパレータと正極及び負極のそれぞれとの間を接合する多孔性の接着性樹脂層とを有している。また、電池本体2及び電解液保持体3には、リチウムイオンを含む電解液が含浸されている。

Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1によるリチウム二次電池を示す一部断面図である。図において、リチウム二次電池1は、電池本体2と、電池本体2に接触する電解液保持体3と、電池本体2及び電解液保持体3をまとめて被覆する被覆体4とを有している。電池本体2及び電解液保持体3には、リチウムイオンを含む電解液が含浸されている。
図3は、この発明の実施の形態2によるリチウム二次電池を示す一部断面図である。図において、電池本体2には、電解液保持体21が接触している。また、電池本体2は、電解液保持体21により覆われている。電解液保持体21には、リチウムイオンを含む電解液が保持されている。
なお、上記の例では、電解液保持体21を構成する粒子がAl原子を含む酸化物とされているが、Si原子を含む酸化物の粒子の集合体を電解液保持体としてもよい。即ち、シリカ微粒子の集合体を電解液保持体としてもよい。この例では、シリカ微粒子の粒径は、30nmとされている。他の構成は実施の形態2と同様である。
Claims (7)
- 正極と、負極と、上記正極及び上記負極間に配置されたセパレータと、上記セパレータと上記正極及び上記負極のそれぞれとの間を接合する多孔性の接着性樹脂層とを有し、リチウムイオンを含む電解液が上記セパレータ及び上記接着性樹脂層に含浸された電池本体、及び
上記電池本体に接触し、上記電解液を保持する電解液保持体
を備えていることを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。 - 上記電池本体は、上記電解液保持体により覆われていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 上記電解液保持体は、複数の微細空孔が設けられた多孔体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 上記電解液保持体は、複数の粒子の集合体であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 上記電解液保持体は、無機酸化物により構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4の何れかに記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 上記無機酸化物は、Si、Al及びZrのいずれかの原子を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 上記電池本体及び上記電解液保持体をまとめて被覆する被覆体をさらに備え、
上記被覆体は、互いに重ねられたアルミニウム膜及び樹脂膜により構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6の何れかに記載のリチウム二次電池。
