Abstract
【解決手段】光記録媒体10は、基板12と、第1の誘電体層14と、記録層16と、第2の誘電体層18と、超解像層20と、第3の誘電体層22とをこの順で設けてなり、前記超解像層20は所定の照射パワーによる1〜300秒間のDC光照射時に、ボイドが発生する材料から構成されている。

Description
また、「所定の照射パワー」とは、前記照射時間の間においても、全ての照射パワーでボイドが発生するわけではないことから、種々照射パワーを適用して確認する場合においてボイドが発生することが確認できる照射パワーを「所定の照射パワー」とするものである。

Claims (9)
- 基板と、この基板上に形成された、少なくとも記録層及び超解像層と、を有してなり、前記超解像層は、所定の照射パワーでの、1〜300秒間のDC光照射によりボイドを発生する材料から構成されていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 基板と、この基板上に形成された、少なくとも記録層及び超解像層と、を有してなり、前記超解像層は、1〜300秒間のDC光照射によりボイドを発生するような所定の照射パワーを有する材料から構成されていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 請求項1又は2において、
前記超解像層は、再生に供する再生光学系における解像限界以下の大きさの単一周波数の記録マークが形成されている記録層にDC光を照射し、且つ、その照射パワーを、前記ボイドが発生する所定の照射パワーよりも小さいパワーから大きいパワーまで変化させたときの再生信号における搬送波対雑音比が、デシベル単位で少なくとも3倍となる材料から構成されていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記超解像層は、再生に供する再生光学系における解像限界以下の大きさの単一周波数の記録マークが形成されている記録層にDC光を照射し、且つ、その照射パワーを変化させたときの再生信号における搬送波対雑音比が、デシベル単位で少なくとも3倍の違いが現われ照射パワーの間に、前記ボイドが発生する所定の照射パワーを有する材料から構成されていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかにおいて、
前記超解像層は、Sb、Bi、Te、Zn、Sn、Ge、Siのいずれかの化合物から構成されていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。 - 請求項5において、
前記材料に、Ag、Inの少なくとも一方が含まれていることを特徴とする光記録媒体。 - 基板と、この基板上に形成された、少なくとも記録層及び超解像層と、を有してなり、前記超解像層が、所定の照射パワーでの、1〜300秒間の再生光照射によりボイドを発生する材料から構成されていて、前記記録層には、再生に供する再生光学系における解像限界以下の大きさの記録マークが形成されている光記録媒体に対して、前記ボイドが発生する照射パワーよりも大きい照射パワーでの再生光照射によって、前記記録マークの情報を再生することを特徴とする光記録媒体の情報再生方法。
- 基板と、この基板上に形成された、少なくとも記録層及び超解像層と、を有してなり、前記超解像層が、1〜300秒間のDC光照射によりボイドを発生するような所定の照射パワーを有する材料から構成されていて、前記記録層には、再生に供する再生光学系における解像限界以下の大きさの記録マークが形成されている光記録媒体に対して、前記ボイドが発生する照射パワーよりも大きい照射パワーでの再生光照射によって、前記記録マークの情報を再生することを特徴とする光記録媒体の情報再生方法。
- 基板と、この基板上に形成された、少なくとも記録層及び超解像層と、を有してなり、前記超解像層が、1〜300秒間のDC光照射によりボイドを発生するような所定の照射パワーを有する材料から構成されていて、前記記録層には、再生に供する再生光学系における解像限界以下の大きさの記録マークが形成されている光記録媒体に対して、前記ボイドが発生する照射パワーのDC光を再生パワーとすることを特徴とする光記録媒体の情報再生方法。
