Description
a.)式(1)
含有するポリマー(A1)を架橋させる、架橋したポリビニルアセタールの製造方法において、任意の順序で、
(i)ポリマー(A1)を式(5)
R9(CHO)n (5)
[式中、R9は結合を表すか、または1〜40の炭素原子を有する基を表し、かつnは2以上の整数を表す]の少なくとも1のポリアルデヒドと反応させ、かつ
(ii)少なくとも部分的に式(1)および式(4)の基を相互にエステル化する、架橋したポリビニルアセタールを製造する方法を提供することにより、容易に予測することができない方法で、特に高い温度、有利には150℃より高い温度で改善された機械的特性、特に高い貯蔵弾性率を有する、架橋したポリビニルアセタールを得ることができる。
→本発明によるポリビニルアセタールはその材料特性、特にその機械的特性、たとえばその貯蔵弾性率、の改善された持続性により優れている。この利点は特に高い温度、とりわけ150℃を超える温度で観察される。EP0211818A1におけるような架橋密度の変化は、本発明の範囲では観察することができず、反対に本発明によるポリビニルアセタールは、高い温度、特に150℃より高い温度でもその架橋密度の明らかに改善された持続性を有する。
→本発明によるポリマー中のポリマー結合したカルボキシル基もしくはカルボキシレート基の存在は、アセタール架橋を介して生じる結合箇所の明らかな安定化につながる。さらにこれは緩衝機能も満足し、かつこのようにして、たとえば粘着防止剤の加水分解生成物による考えられる有害な酸の影響に対抗する。
→本発明により架橋したポリビニルアセタールは容易な方法で大規模工業的に、および安価に得られる。その際、特に保護的な架橋条件およびこのために必要とされる短い架橋時間により、酸化反応および/または、通常、ポリマーの変色を生じ、従って特に(透明な)複合安全ガラスとしての適用にとって品質の損害を意味しうる、その他の熱により誘発される副反応が回避される。
→本発明による架橋したポリビニルアセタールの製造は、極めて迅速に、かつ保護的に行うことができるので、すでに最初から高い分子量のポリビニルアセタールに基づいて極めて短い押出帯域もしくは押出機滞留時間を選択することができる。
→その特徴的な特性プロファイルに基づいて、本発明によるポリビニルアセタールは特に、容易な方法で、大規模工業的に、および安価に、特に押出法により製造することができる複合安全ガラスのために適切である。その際、この関連において特に、本発明によるポリビニルアセタールの使用により、気泡の形成も、加工の間の特性の変動も十分に回避され、かつこのようにして、改善された光学的および機械的特性を有する複合安全ガラスが高い再現性で得られるという利点を有するに至る。

(ii)少なくとも部分的に式(1)および式(4)の基を相互にエステル化する

(1)少なくとも1種の化合物(6)95.00〜99.99質量部、
(2)少なくとも1種のポリアルデヒド(5)0.01〜5.00質量部
に選択され、その際、記載された質量部は有利には合計して100.00質量部である。

- ポリマー(A1)の全質量に対して、
a.)式(1)

含有するポリマー(A1)を架橋させる、架橋したポリビニルアセタールの製造方法において、任意の順序で、
(i)ポリマー(A1)を式(5)
R9(CHO)n (5)
[式中、R9は結合を表すか、または1〜40の炭素原子を有する基を表し、かつnは2以上の整数を表す]の少なくとも1のポリアルデヒドと反応させ、かつ
(ii)少なくとも部分的に式(1)および式(4)の基を相互にエステル化する
ことを特徴とする、架橋したポリビニルアセタールの製造方法。 - n=2または3を有する化合物(5)を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- R9が1〜12の炭素原子を有する脂肪族、脂環式および/または芳香族基である化合物(5)を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 化合物(5)としてグルタルジアルデヒドおよび/またはn−ノナンジアールを使用することを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 化合物(6)としてn−ブチルアルデヒドを使用することを特徴とする、請求項5記載の方法。
- (1)少なくとも1の化合物(6)を95.00〜99.99質量部、
(2)少なくとも1のポリアルデヒド(5)を0.01〜5.00質量部
を使用し、その際、上記の質量部は合計して100.00質量部であることを特徴とする、請求項5および/または6記載の方法。 - エステル化(ii)を、場合により少なくとも1の可塑剤の存在下に、80〜280℃の範囲の物質温度で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 架橋を押出機、混練機またはその他の加熱可能な装置中で実施する、請求項8記載の方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法により得られる架橋したポリビニルアセタール。
- エステル化された、およびエステル化されていないカルボキシル基の全含有率が、ポリビニルアセタールの全質量に対して10.0質量%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項10記載のポリビニルアセタール。
- 可塑剤を含有する、請求項10および/または11記載のポリビニルアセタール。
- 請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載されたポリビニルアセタールを含有する成形材料。
- 請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載されたポリビニルアセタールを含有するフィルム。
- 複合安全ガラスを製造するための、請求項14記載のフィルムの使用。
- 請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載されたポリビニルアセタールを含有する被覆。
- エレクトロクロミックシステムのためのイオン伝導性中間層を製造するための請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載されたポリビニルアセタールの使用。
