Abstract

Rは、水素又は炭化水素基(この炭化水素基はMと結合する炭素原子以外の炭素原子で置換されていてもよい)を表し、
Xは、アニオンを表し、
nは、Mの原子価に相当する数を表し、
xは、0〜nの範囲内の数を表し、
その際、n及びxは、電荷中性が生じるように選択される]の少なくとも1種の金属化合物
からなる触媒系を使用する。
Description
a) 成分Aとして少なくとも1種のコバルト化合物及び
b) 成分Bとして一般式(I)
MXxRn−x (I)
[式中、
Mは、アルカリ土類金属又は元素周期表の3、4又は有利に12又は13族の金属を表し、
Rは、水素又は炭化水素基(この炭化水素基はMと結合した炭素原子以外の炭素原子で置換されていてもよい)を表し、
Xは、アニオンを表し、
nは、Mの原子価に相当する数を表し、
xは、0〜nの範囲内の数を表し、
その際、n及びxは、電荷中性が生じるように選択される]の少なくとも1種の金属化合物
からなる触媒系を使用することにより解決される。
使用された化学薬品は、Fluka, AldrichもしくはMerck社から入手し、更に精製せずに使用した。この溶剤は、分子ふるいで乾燥させて得られ、かつ使用の前にそれぞれ脱ガスした。このAlアルキル化合物は溶剤としてトルエンを使用した。
NMR分光分析はBruker社のAMX 400で測定した。IR測定(KBr又は溶液として直接)は、Bruker社のIFS 113V及びIFS 66V装置で実施した。反応速度論の測定のためのオンラインIR試験のために、Mettler Toledo社のReact1RTM(Si CompTMDippersystem)を用いて作業した。
ジグリム中のオクタカルボニル二コバルトCo2CO8(1eq)に、0℃でアルゴン雰囲気下で所望の量のエポキシド(表1〜4参照)を添加した。最終的に、タイプBの化合物(1〜6eq)を添加した(表1〜4参照)。
実施例
実施例1:
オクタカルボニル二コバルトCo2CO8(260mg)をジグリム16ml中に溶かし、この溶液を0℃に冷却し、酸化プロピレン8mlを添加した。トルエン中のMe3Alの2N溶液0.77mlの添加の後で、この反応溶液を、水分及び酸素の遮断下で、ガラススリーブを備えた鋼製オートクレーブ100ml中に導入した。カルボニル化反応はCO 60barで、5時間、75℃で実施した。このカルボニル化反応の中断を、周囲圧力に圧力低下させることにより行い、かつ0℃に冷却した。取り出された試料の分析(1H−及び13C−NMR)は、エポキシドの完全なカルボニル化及び>95%のラクトン割合(副生成物はポリヒドロキシブチラート及びアセトン)を示した。
IR−センサを備えた250mlの鋼製オートクレーブ中に、アルゴン下で、0℃で、オクタカルボニル二コバルトCo2CO8(780mg)をジグリム50ml中に溶かし、酸化プロピレン26mlを添加した。トルエン中のMe3Alの2N溶液7mlの添加後に、CO 60barを圧入した。カルボニル化反応はCO 60barで、2時間、95℃で実施した。このカルボニル化反応の中断を、周囲圧力に圧力低下させることにより行い、かつ0℃に冷却した。取り出された試料の分析(1H−及び13C−NMR)は、エポキシドの完全なカルボニル化及び>95%のラクトン割合(副生成物はポリヒドロキシブチラート及びアセトン)を示した。

オクタカルボニル二コバルトCo2CO8(130mg)をジグリム8ml中に溶かし、この溶液を0℃に冷却し、ブチルオキシラン7mlを添加した。トルエン中のMe3Alの2N溶液0.39mlの添加の後で、この反応溶液を、水分及び酸素の遮断下で、ガラススリーブを備えた鋼製オートクレーブ100ml中に導入した。カルボニル化反応はCO 60barで、14時間、75℃で実施した。このカルボニル化反応の中断を、周囲圧力に圧力低下させることにより行い、かつ0℃に冷却した。取り出された試料の分析(1H−及び13C−NMR)は、エポキシドの約70%のカルボニル化及び>75%のラクトン割合を示した。
オクタカルボニル二コバルトCo2CO8(130mg)及びテトラエチルアンモニウム−コバルトカルボニラートEt4NCo(CO)4(232mg)を、ジグリム10ml中に溶かし、この溶液を0℃に冷却し、酸化プロピレン6mlを添加した。アルミニウムイソプロポキシド(i−PrO)3Alの添加の後に、この反応溶液を、水分及び酸素の遮断下で、ガススリーブを備えた鋼製オートクレーブに導入した。カルボニル化反応はCO 60barで、16時間、75℃で実施した。このカルボニル化反応の中断を、周囲圧力に圧力低下させることにより行い、かつ0℃に冷却した。取り出された試料の分析(1H−及び13C−NMR)は、エポキシドのほぼ完全なカルボニル化及び>85%のラクトン割合(副生成物はポリヒドロキシブチラート及びアセトン)を示した。
Claims (8)
- オキシランの接触カルボニル化によるラクトンの製造方法において、触媒として、
a) 成分Aとして少なくとも1種のコバルト化合物及び
b) 成分Bとして一般式(I)
MXxRn−x (I)
[式中、
Mは、アルカリ土類金属又は元素周期表の3、4又は12又は13族の金属を表し、
Rは、水素又は炭化水素基を表し、前記の炭化水素基はMと結合した炭素原子以外の炭素原子で置換されていてもよく、
Xは、アニオンを表し、
nは、Mの原子価に相当する数を表し、
xは、0〜nの範囲内の数を表し、
その際、n及びxは、電荷中性が生じるように選択される]の少なくとも1種の金属化合物
からなる触媒系を使用することを特徴とする、オキシランの接触カルボニル化によるラクトンの製造方法。 - 反応条件下で、コバルトカルボニル化合物が存在するように成分Aを選択することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 一般式(I)中で、Mは、Al、Mg、Zn又はSnを表すことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 一般式(I)中で、Rは水素又はC1〜C32−アルキル、C2〜C20−アルケニル、C3〜C20−シクロアルキル、C6〜C18−アリール、C7〜C20−アラルキル又はC7〜C20−アルカリールを表し、その際、Mが結合した炭素原子以外の炭素原子に置換基が存在することができ、かつ/又はXはCl、Br、I、スルホナート、酸化物、C1〜C32−アルコキシド又はアミドを表すことを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 成分BはAlClxR3−xであり、xは0〜3の数であり、RはC1〜C6−アルキルであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- Al(C2H5)3/Co(acac)3の組み合わせを除く、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の触媒。
- 成分AとBとを混合することによる、請求項6記載の触媒の製造方法。
- カルボニル化反応のための、請求項6記載の触媒の使用。
