Abstract
【解決手段】 正極活物質層21Bは、正極活物質として、LiとCoとを含む複合酸化物を含有しており、負極活物質層22Bは、負極活物質として、SnとCoとCとを構成元素として含み、Cの含有量が16.8質量%〜24.8質量%であり、かつSnとCoとの合計に対するCoの割合が30質量%〜45質量%であるCoSnC含有材料を含有している。負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比(正極活物質層21Bの面密度/負極活物質層22Bの面密度)は、2.77〜3.90である。

Description
図1に示したような円筒型の二次電池を作製した。
炭素粉末の原料比を変えたことを除き、他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にしてCoSnC含有材料および二次電池を作製した。その際、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で16.9g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表2に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
炭素粉末の原料比を変えたことを除き、他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にしてCoSnC含有材料および二次電池を作製した。その際、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で16.6g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表3に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
Co/(Sn+Co) 比を30質量%としたことを除き,他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にしてCoSnC含有材料および二次電池を作製した。その際、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で16.9g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表4に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
Co/(Sn+Co) 比を45質量%としたことを除き,他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にしてCoSnC含有材料および二次電池を作製した。その際、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で16.5g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表5に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
原料にインジウム粉末を加えたことを除き、他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にしてCoSnC含有材料および二次電池を作製した。その際、CoSnC含有材料は、コバルト粉末とスズ粉末とを合金化してコバルト・スズ合金粉末を作製したのち、この合金粉末に炭素粉末およびインジウム粉末を混合して合成した。また、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で17.1g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表6に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
正極活物質としてLiCoO2 とLiNi0.5 Co0.2 Mn0.3 O2 とを用いると共に、CoSnC含有材料としてインジウムを含む材料を用いたことを除き、他は実施例1−1〜1−7と同様にして二次電池を作製した。その際、LiCoO2 とLiNi0.5 Co0.2 Mn0.3 O2 とは、LiCoO2 :LiNi0.5 Co0.2 Mn0.3 O2 =80:20の質量比で混合したものとした。また、CoSnC含有材料は、実施例6−1〜6−7と同様のものを用いた。更に、負極活物質層22Bの面密度を両面で17.1g/cm2 とすると共に、正極活物質層21Bの面密度を両面で表7に示すように変化させ、負極活物質層22Bに対する正極活物質層21Bの面密度比を変化させた。
Claims (1)
- 正極活物質層を有する正極と、負極活物質層を有する負極とを備え、
前記正極活物質層は、リチウム(Li)と、コバルト(Co)とを構成元素として含む複合酸化物を含有し、
前記負極活物質層は、スズ(Sn)と、コバルト(Co)と、炭素(C)とを構成元素として含み、炭素の含有量が16.8質量%以上24.8質量%以下であり、かつスズとコバルトとの合計に対するコバルトの割合が30質量%以上45質量%以下であるCoSnC含有材料を含有し、
前記負極活物質層に対する前記正極活物質層の面密度比(正極活物質層の面密度/負極活物質層の面密度)は、2.77以上3.90以下の範囲内である
ことを特徴とする電池。
