Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、自動二輪車のエンジンのダイナミック排気システムの作動方法を提供する。本方法では、上記排気システムを通る第一の流路又は第二の流路へ排気ガスを導くように動くことができる弁を排気システムに設ける。本方法は、第一の速度において該弁を排気ガスの流れを第一の流路から第二の流路へ変えると共に、上記第一の速度より大きい第二の速度において該弁を排気ガスの流れを第二の流路から第一の流路へ変える。

Claims (19)
- 自動二輪車のエンジンのダイナミック排気システムを作動させる方法であって、
前記排気システムの第一の排気管と連通した第一のマフラーを設ける工程と、
前記排気システムの第二の排気管と連通した第二のマフラーを設ける工程と、
前記第二のマフラーと連通した弁を設ける工程と、
前記弁を動かす工程とを有し、
前記弁は、第一の位置と第二の位置の間で動くことができ、
前記弁が前記第一の位置にあるとき、排気ガスは第一の流路に沿って前記第一及び第二のマフラー内を流れ
前記弁が前記第二の位置にあるとき、排気ガスは第二の流路に沿って前記第一のマフラー内を流れ
排気ガスが前記第一の流路に沿って流れるとき、前記エンジンは第一のトルク特性となり、
排気ガスが前記第二の流路に沿って流れるとき、前記エンジンは第二のトルク特性となり、
前記弁を動かす工程は、
第一の速度において前記弁を排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変え、前記エンジンを前記第二のトルク特性で作動させる工程と、
前記第一の速度より大きい第二の速度において前記弁を排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変え、前記エンジンを前記第一のトルク特性で作動させる工程とを有する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記弁を動かす工程は、該弁を開くこと又は閉じることを含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記弁を動かす工程は、前記エンジンが全開の少なくとも約75%で作動しているときに該弁を動かす、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記速度はエンジンスピードであり、
前記弁を動かす工程は、
第一のエンジンスピードにおいて、排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変え、
前記第一のエンジンスピードより大きい第二のエンジンスピードにおいて、排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変える、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記速度は車速であり、
前記弁を動かす工程は、
第一の車速において、排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変え、
前記第一の車速より大きい第二の車速において、排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変える、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記速度はエンジンスピード又は車速であり、
前記弁を動かす工程は、
第一のエンジンスピード又は第一の車速において、排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変え、
前記第一のエンジンスピードより大きい第二のエンジンスピード又は前記第一の車速より大きい第二の車速において、排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変える、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記弁を動かす工程は、
前記第一のトルク特性と前記第二のトルク特性の第一の交差領域において、排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変え、
前記第一のトルク特性と前記第二のトルク特性の第二の交差領域において、排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変える、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
アクチュエータに前記弁を動かすようにトリガする工程を更に有する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項8記載の方法であって、
エンジン制御ユニットが前記アクチュエータをトリガする、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、
前記第二のマフラー及び前記第二の排気管と連通した第三の排気管を前記排気システムに設ける工程を更に有する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項10記載の方法であって、
前記弁を動かして排気ガスの流れを前記第一の流路から前記第二の流路へ変える工程は、該排気ガスを前記第一及び第二の排気管に流すことを含み、
前記弁を動かして排気ガスの流れを前記第二の流路から前記第一の流路へ変える工程は、該排気ガスを前記第一、第二、及び第三の排気管に流すことを含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 自動二輪車のエンジンのダイナミック排気システムを作動させる方法であって、
前記排気システムの第一の排気管と連通した第一のマフラーを設ける工程と、
前記排気システムの第二の排気管と連通した第二のマフラーを設ける工程と、
前記第二のマフラーと連通した弁を設ける工程と、
前記弁を動かす工程と、
排気ガスの流れを変える工程とを有し、
前記弁は、第一の位置と第二の位置の間で動くことができ、
前記弁が前記第一の位置にあるとき、排気ガスは第一の流路に沿って前記第一及び第二のマフラー内を流れ
前記弁が前記第二の位置にあるとき、排気ガスは第二の流路に沿って前記第一のマフラー内を流れ
排気ガスが前記第一の流路に沿って流れるとき、前記エンジンは第一のトルク特性となり、
排気ガスが前記第二の流路に沿って流れるとき、前記エンジンは第二のトルク特性となり、
