Abstract
【解決手段】 このマトリックスコンバータ38は、モータジェネレータMG1によって発電された三相交流電力を従来の三相全波整流インバータ方式のように三相交流を一旦直流に整流することなく、モータジェネレータMG1から入力された三相交流電力をモータジェネレータMG2を駆動するための三相交流電力に直接変換して出力する。自動車用電源装置14は2つのモータジェネレータMG1、MG2間の三相交流電力のやり取りがマトリックスコンバータ38より直接的に行なわれるので、従来のように直流に一旦変換するよりも電力の損失を低減させることができる。

Claims (8)
- mを3以上の自然数とするとき、
内燃機関から動力を受けてm相の第1の交流電力を発電可能な第1の回転電機と、
前記第1の交流電力と相の数が等しいm相の第2の交流電力を受けて車輪を駆動する第2の回転電機と、
前記第1の交流電力を変換して前記第2の交流電力の少なくとも一部として出力するマトリクスコンバータとを備え、
前記マトリクスコンバータは、
前記第1の回転電機のm相の出力の各々と前記第2の回転電機のm相の入力の各々との間に接続されるm×m個のスイッチング素子を含む、自動車用電源装置。 - バッテリと、
前記バッテリから得られる直流電力を変換して前記第2の交流電力の少なくとも一部として出力するインバータとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の自動車用電源装置。 - 前記バッテリと前記インバータとを電気的に接続する第1のスイッチと、
前記マトリックスコンバータに対して電力変換の制御を行ない、かつ、前記第1のスイッチの開閉を前記マトリックスコンバータの電力変換の状態に連動して制御する制御手段とをさらに備える、請求項2に記載の自動車用電源装置。 - 前記マトリックスコンバータに対して電力変換の制御を行ない、かつ、前記マトリックスコンバータの電力変換の状態に連動して前記インバータを制御する制御手段をさらに備える、請求項2に記載の自動車用電源装置。
- 前記スイッチング素子は、逆阻止型の絶縁ゲートバイポーラトランジスタを含む、請求項1に記載の自動車用電源装置。
- 前記マトリックスコンバータと前記第2の回転電機とを電気的に接続する第2のスイッチと、
前記第2のスイッチと前記マトリックスコンバータとの間に接続され、単相交流電力を出力するためのソケットとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の自動車用電源装置。 - 前記マトリックスコンバータと前記第1の回転電機と電気的に接続する第3のスイッチと、
前記第3のスイッチと前記マトリックスコンバータとの間に接続され、自動車外部から単相交流電力を入力するためのソケットとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の自動車用電源装置。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の自動車用電源装置を備える自動車。
