Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lamp socket to which a high-power straight tube fluorescent lamp is mounted and a lighting fixture using the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As this type of lamp socket, for example, a lamp socket having a structure as shown in FIGS. 13A and 13B has been conventionally provided (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
This lamp socket has a body 51 having a substantially box-like shape with an open rear surface and a lamp insertion hole for inserting a base of a fluorescent lamp on the front surface, and is attached to the body 51 so as to cover the opening of the body 51. A conductive metal fitting (not shown) having a contact with a lamp pin and a lead wire connected to a base end is housed inside the socket main body 50 including a cover 52 to be formed. .
[0004]
A through hole 53 penetrates an upper portion of a rear surface of the cover 52, and protrusions 54 project from left and right sides of the lower portion. In addition, an insertion hole 55 communicating with the through hole 53 of the cover 52 is provided through the body 51.
[0005]
When the lamp socket is mounted on the mounting plate 60 fixed to the fixture main body of the lighting fixture, the tip of the screw 56 inserted into the insertion hole 55 of the body 51 and the through hole 53 of the cover 52 is attached to the mounting plate. The socket body 50 is fixed to the mounting plate 60 by screws 56 by screwing the nut body 57 through a hole 61 provided in the socket 60. [Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, since the lamp socket in which the single-ended fluorescent lamp is mounted supports the fluorescent lamp in a cantilever manner, it is necessary for the receiver to take a large force to hold the fluorescent lamp base, and as a result, the lamp is pulled toward the lamp. Therefore, the force applied in the direction in which the lamp is pulled (this direction is referred to as the lamp pulling direction) increases, and it is necessary to ensure sufficient mounting strength in the lamp pulling direction. On the other hand, the lamp socket, in which the double-ended straight tube fluorescent lamp is mounted, supports the fluorescent lamp from both sides. The force for holding the base can be reduced, and therefore the force applied in the lamp pulling direction is reduced, and the mounting load in the lamp pulling direction is small. However, a force for rotating the fluorescent lamp may be applied, so that the fluorescent lamp It is necessary to ensure sufficient mounting strength in the rotating direction.
[0008]
In the above-described conventional lamp socket, since the socket body 50 is fastened and fixed to the mounting plate 60 with one screw 56, in order to increase the mounting strength in the rotating direction of the fluorescent lamp, the screw size must be increased. Then, it is necessary to increase the tightening force of the screw 56, and as a result, there is a problem that the socket body 50 becomes large.
[0009]
When a force for rotating the fluorescent lamp is applied, a force for rotating the socket body 50 around the screw 56 is applied to the socket body 50. However, the two projections 54 of the cover 52 The rotation of the socket main body 50 is stopped by the fitting of the lamp body, so that the load concentrates on the two protrusions 54 when a force for rotating the fluorescent lamp is applied when the screw 56 is tightened or after the socket is mounted. Therefore, there is a possibility that the projection 54 is broken. Further, in the above-described lamp socket, when the socket body 50 is screwed to the mounting plate 60, the socket body 50 is not temporarily fixed to the mounting plate 60, so that there is a problem that the mounting operation is difficult to perform. .
[0010]

[0020]
The plunger 6 is made of a synthetic resin molded article, has a substantially cylindrical main part 6a with a bottom in a plan view, and a flange part 6b formed at the rear end of the main part 6a. Is provided with a receiving money 5. The receiving metal 5 has a fitting recess 5a in which a fitting portion 42 that is opened on the front surface and protrudes from the front end of the base 41 fits, and a substantially E-shaped planar projection that projects forward from the center of the bottom surface of the fitting recess 5a. , And contact terminals 7, 7 respectively inserted from the rear into a pair of insertion holes (not shown) provided on the bottom surface of the fitting recess 5a.
[0021]
The contact terminal 7 is formed in a substantially cross shape by a metal member, and the contact portions 7a inserted into the fitting recesses 5a from the insertion holes are stored and held in the vertical grooves 5c on both side surfaces of the guide portion 5b. On the other hand, the front end of the coil spring 8 is inserted into the rear end 7b of the contact terminal 7 projecting rearward of the plunger 6 from the insertion hole.
[0022]
The rear end of the coil spring 8 is inserted into the spring holding groove 4 a of the cover 4 together with the spring seat 9 a of the terminal fitting 9. The terminal fitting 9 is formed by punching and bending a metal plate, and has a substantially circular spring seat piece 9a, a quick connection terminal part 9b to which an external electric wire is connected, a spring seat piece 9a and a quick connection terminal part 9b. And a connecting piece 9c for connecting between the two. When the terminal fitting 9 is attached to the cover 4, the spring seat piece 9a is arranged at the bottom of the spring holding groove 4a, and the quick connection terminal portion 9b is placed on the front side of the protruding base 4b. A hole 9f is formed substantially at the center of the spring seat piece 9a. The hole 9f fits into a projection (not shown) provided on the bottom wall of the spring holding groove 4a, thereby positioning the spring seat piece 9a. Is to be performed. At this time, the rear end of the coil spring 8 comes into contact with the spring seat piece 9a, and the contact terminal 7 and the terminal fitting 9 are electrically connected via the coil spring 8. Here, a conductive fitting 10 for electrically connecting between a contact piece (not shown) of the base 41 of the fluorescent lamp 40 and a power supply line from the two sets of the contact terminals 7, the coil spring 8, and the terminal fitting 9 is configured. Is done.
[0023]
The quick-connecting terminal portion 9b of the terminal fitting 9 has a substantially U-shape in plan view, and a contact piece 9d arranged along the left and right side walls of the body 3 and a core wire of a power supply line between the contact piece 9d. And a lock piece 9e to be clamped. A pair of electric wire insertion holes 3d are provided on the lower wall of the body 3 corresponding to the opposing portions of the contact piece 9d and the locking piece 9e, and a power supply line (not shown) is provided from the electric wire insertion hole 3d. Is inserted, the conductor of the core wire is sandwiched between the locking piece 9e and the contact piece 9d, and the leading edge of the locking piece 9e bites into the conductor of the core wire, so that the core wire falls off. Is prevented. That is, only by inserting the core wire of the power supply line into the electric wire insertion hole 3d, the core wire is held and the electrical connection to the terminal fitting 9 is made. In addition, the lower wall of the body 3 is provided with an electric wire removing hole 3e corresponding to each electric wire insertion hole 3d, and when the core wire of the power supply line connected to the quick connection terminal portion 9b is removed, the corresponding electric wire is removed. When the tool is inserted through the release hole 3e and the locking piece 9e is pressed upward by the tip of the tool, the locking piece 9e is bent in a direction away from the abutting piece 9d. , And the power supply line can be easily pulled out.
[0024]
Next, a procedure for assembling the lamp socket 1 will be briefly described below. First, the main part 6a of the plunger 6 is inserted into the insertion hole 3c of the body 3 from the rear, and the contact terminal 7, the coil spring 8 and the terminal fitting 9 are placed inside, and then the cover 4 is attached to the opening surface of the body 3. Then, the assembly of the lamp socket 1 is completed by fitting the assembly claws 4c of the cover 4 into the fitting recesses (not shown) of the body 3. Here, the plunger 6 is elastically urged forward via the contact terminal 7 by the spring force of the coil spring 8 housed in the socket body 2 in a compressed state, and the flange 6b comes into contact with the periphery of the insertion hole 3c. Thus, the plunger 6 is held movably from the insertion hole 3c in a state where the plunger 6 is prevented from falling out of the insertion hole 3c. That is, the plunger 6 and the coil spring 8 constitute a moving mechanism that enables the receiver 5 to move in the fitting direction with the base 41 and urges the receiver 5 toward the fluorescent lamp 40.
[0025]
The fixed lamp socket 1 'has a structure as shown in FIG. 9 and does not have the above-mentioned moving mechanism, but is movable in that the receiver 5 is fixed in the main portion 3a of the body 3. Although it is different from the lamp socket 1, the other configuration is almost the same, so that the detailed description is omitted.
[0026]
Next, a structure for mounting the lamp sockets 1 and 1 'to the appliance body 20 will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, the mounting plate 24 of the instrument body 20 has a locking hole 26 for locking the locking protrusion 12 a of the cover 4 and an insertion hole for inserting the mounting screw 14 screwed into the screw hole 13. 27 are provided through the mounting plate 24, and through holes 25, 25 into which the holding pieces 11, 11 are respectively inserted on the left and right sides with respect to a line connecting the locking hole 26 and the insertion hole 27 are formed. I have. The through holes 25, 25 extend in a direction substantially parallel to a line connecting the locking hole 26 and the insertion hole 27, and the width near the insertion hole 27 is smaller than that far from the insertion hole 27, and the width of the wide portion 25a is large. Is formed wider than the horizontal piece 11a of the holding piece 11, and the width dimension of the narrow portion 25b is narrower than the horizontal piece 11a of the holding piece 11, and wider than the thickness of the vertical piece 11b. Note that the narrow portions 25b, 25b and the locking holes 26 are arranged on a circumference having substantially the same radius around the insertion hole 27.
[0027]
Thus, when mounting the lamp sockets 1 and 1 'to the mounting plate 24, the rear surface of the socket body 2 was brought close to the mounting plate 24, and the holding pieces 11 and 11 were inserted into the wide portions 25a of the through holes 25, respectively. Thereafter, when the socket body 2 is slid along the longitudinal direction of the through hole 25 and the holding piece 11 is inserted into the narrow portion 25b of the through hole 25, the tip of the horizontal piece 11a as a holding projection and the cover are formed. The edge of the narrow portion 25b is sandwiched between the rear surface 4 (the rear wall of the socket body 2). Here, since the gap between the rear surface of the cover 4 and the front surface of the horizontal piece 11a is formed to have substantially the same thickness as the thickness of the mounting plate 24, when the holding piece 11 is inserted into the narrow portion 25b. The locking projection 12a is pressed forward by the surface of the mounting plate 24, and the distal end of the flexible piece 12 is bent forward. When the socket body 2 is slid with respect to the mounting plate 24 and the holding piece 11 is moved to the end of the narrow portion 25 b, the locking projection 12 a of the bending piece 12 is moved by the elastic force of the bending piece 12. The socket body 2 is temporarily held by the mounting plate 24 by fitting with the locking hole 26 of the socket 24. At this time, the screw hole 13 of the cover 4 communicates with the insertion hole 27 of the mounting plate 24, and the mounting screw 14 passed through the insertion hole 27 is screwed into the screw hole 13, so that the socket body 2 is connected to the mounting plate 24. It is fixed.
[0028]
By the way, in the lamp sockets 1 and 1 'in which the straight tube-type fluorescent lamps 40 having the bases at both ends are mounted, the force applied in the lamp pulling direction is smaller than that of the lamp sockets to which the single base fluorescent lamp is mounted. Since the mounting load in the lamp pulling direction is small, and in this embodiment, the force applied in the lamp pulling direction is received by the mounting screw 14 and the horizontal piece 11a of the holding piece 11, the tightening force of the mounting screw 14 is reduced. A small and small one can be used, and as a result, the size of the socket body 2 can be reduced.
[0029]
Further, when the mounting screw 14 is tightened with a screw or when a force for rotating the fluorescent lamp 40 is applied, a force for rotating the socket body 2 about the screw hole 13 into which the mounting screw 14 is screwed is applied to the socket. Although it is added to the main body 2, the vertical piece 11 b, which is a position regulating projection of the holding piece 11, comes into contact with the edge of the through hole 25 (narrow portion 25 b), and the locking projection 12 a locks with the locking hole 26. To stop the rotation of the socket body 2, and the force for rotating the socket body 2 is received by the three projections (the locking projections 12a and the vertical pieces 11b, 11b of the holding pieces 11, 11). The load received by the projections can be reduced to prevent the breakage of the projections, and if the load received by each projection is about the same as the conventional one, the mounting strength of the socket body 2 can be increased. In addition, since the three projections (the locking projection 12a and the vertical pieces 11b, 11b of the holding pieces 11, 11) are arranged at substantially equal distances from the screw hole 13, the three projections can evenly distribute the load. Can receive. Attachment means for attaching the socket body 2 to a plate-like attachment portion (the attachment plate 24 of the instrument body 20) by the bending piece 12, the locking projection 12a, and the horizontal piece 11a and the vertical piece 11b of the holding piece 11. Is configured.
[0030]
In addition, a bag-shaped partition wall 4f whose upper side is opened from a portion outside the flexible piece 12 is formed on the front side of the cover 4, and the partition wall 4f and the upper wall of the body 2 surround the flexible piece 12 in an assembled state. Is enclosed. As described above, the portion of the cover 4 where the flexible piece 12 is formed and the storage space for the conductive member 10 are partitioned by the partition wall 4f, so that dust and insects that have entered the inside through the slit 4d can be removed. Contact with the internal conductive member can be prevented.
[0031]
Next, the structure of the instrument body 20 will be described with reference to FIGS. The appliance body 20 is formed in a horizontally long rectangular frame shape by long frame bodies 21 and 21 arranged in parallel and frame bodies 22 and 22 connecting between both ends of the frame bodies 21 and 21, respectively. It is attached to a ceiling surface or the like by using an appropriate attachment means. Two movable lamp sockets 1 and 1 are attached to the inner surface of one (left side in FIG. 10) frame 22 facing in the longitudinal direction, and two fixed lamp sockets are mounted to the inner surface of the other frame 22. Shaped lamp sockets 1 ', 1' are mounted, and a fluorescent lamp 40 is mounted between the lamp sockets 1, 1 '. That is, the mounting plates 24 of the lamp sockets 1 and 1 'are formed from the inner surfaces of the frames 22 and 22. Incidentally, 23 in the figure is a reflection plate.
[0032]
A procedure for attaching the fluorescent lamp 40 to the lighting fixture of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described. First, when the fitting part 42 of the base 41 is inserted into the fitting recess 5 a of the receiver 5 with respect to the movable lamp socket 1, the guide part 5 b of the receiver 5 enters the fitting part 42. The pair of contact pieces (not shown) held by the fitting portion 42 come into contact with the contact portions 7a of the contact terminals 7 supported by the guide portions 5b, respectively. At this time, when the fluorescent lamp 40 is pushed toward the lamp socket 1, the plunger 6 is moved rearward in the longitudinal direction of the device main body 20 (the fitting direction of the base 41 and the holder 5) against the spring force of the coil spring 8. That is, the plunger 6 is moved in a direction (left side in FIG. 10) into the insertion hole 3 c of the lamp socket 1, and the plunger 6 is fitted with the fitting portion 42 of the base 41 fitted into the fitting recess 5 a of the receiving metal 5. At the same time, the base 41 enters the insertion hole 3c of the lamp socket 1. At this time, since the opposite end of the fluorescent lamp 40 moves to the left side in FIG. 10 from the position of the fixed lamp socket 1 ', the fluorescent lamp 40 can be inserted between the lamp sockets 1 and 1'. By pressing the fluorescent lamp 40 in the direction of the fixed lamp socket 1 ′, the base 41 on the opposite side is connected to the socket 5 of the lamp socket 1 ′. When the fluorescent lamp 40 is mounted between the lamp sockets 1 and 1 ′, the plunger 6 moves in a direction of retreating from the insertion hole 3 c of the lamp socket 1 by the spring force of the coil spring 8, and the plunger 6 is inserted into the lamp socket 1. The fluorescent lamp 40 is mounted on both lamp sockets 1 and 1 'in a state of protruding from the hole 3c (see FIG. 11).
[0033]
In this embodiment, an example is described in which a fluorescent lamp having an R17d-type base is mounted. However, the present invention is not intended to limit the fluorescent lamp to the above-described one, but a straight tube-type fluorescent lamp having bases at both ends. Then, the present invention is applicable to a lamp socket to which any fluorescent lamp is mounted.
[0034]
