Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも1つのMMI(マルチモード干渉)導波路と、少なくとも1つ のブラッグ格子構造体とを含む光デバイスにおいて、 前記MMI導波路の第1の辺には少なくとも1つの、いわゆるアクセス導波路 が配置されており、前記MMI導波路の第2の辺には少なくとも1つのアクセス 導波路が配置されており、前記第1の辺および第2の辺が前記MMI導波路の短 辺であり、前記アクセス導波路がいわゆるテーパ構造体となるように配置されて おり、前記MMI導波路にブラッグ格子構造体が配置されていることを特徴とす る光デバイス。 2. 前記ブラッグ格子が前記MMI導波路の中心に配置されていることを特徴 とする、請求項1記載の光デバイス。 3. 前記ブラッグ格子が前記MMI導波路の中心に対してオフセットされてい ることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の光デバイス。 4. 熱的、光学的、または電気的に能動的な位相制御要素を含むことを特徴と する、請求項2または3記載の光デバイス。 5. 前記MMI導波路が前記ブラッグ格子構造体の各辺にテーパ構造体を有す ることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の光デバイス。 6. 前記MMI導波路上の前記テーパ構造体が直線状であることを特徴とする 、請求項5記載の光デバイス。 7. 前記MMI導波路上の前記テーパ構造体が放物線状であることを特徴とす る、請求項5記載の光デバイス。 8. アクセス導波路の光路長さが他のアクセス導波路の光路長さと異なるよう に、前記MMI導波路の前記1つの辺に少なくとも1つのアクセス導波路が配置 されていることを特徴とする、請求項6または7記載の光デバイス。 9. 光路長さが他のアクセス導波路の光路長さと異なるように、前記MMI導 波路の第1の辺および第2の辺に少なくとも1つのアクセス導波路が配置されて いることを特徴とする、請求項6または7記載の光デバイス。 10.第1のMMI導波路上のアクセス導波路が第2のMMI導波路上のアクセ ス導波路に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項8または9記載の光デバイ ス。 11.前記MMI導波路内の少なくとも1つのアクセス導波路に隣接する部分が 、前記MMI導波路の他の部分の屈折率と異なる屈折率を有することを特徴とす る、請求項10記載の光デバイス。 12.本デバイスが、少なくとも2つのMMI導波路と、少なくとも2つのブラ ッグ格子とを含み、第1のMMI導波路の第1の辺に少なくとも1つのいわゆる アクセス導波路が配置されており、第2のMMI導波路の第2辺に少なくとも1 つのアクセス導波路が配置されており、前記第1の辺および前記第2の辺が前記 MMI導波路の短辺であり、前記第1のMMI導波路の第2の短辺と前記第2の MMI導波路の第2の辺とが互いに結合されており、前記アクセス導波路が、い わゆるテーパ構造を有し、前記MMI導波路にブラッグ格子構造体が配置されて いることを特徴とする、請求項11記載の光デバイス。 13.前記第1のMMI導波路の第2の辺と、第2のMMI導波路の第1の辺と が互いに横方向にオフセットされていることを特徴とする、請求項12記載の光 デバイス。 14.前記MMI導波路がブラッグ格子構造体の各辺にテーパ構造体を有するこ とを特徴とする、請求項13記載の光デバイス。
