- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.研磨製品を製造する方法であって、 a)第1の側面と第2の側面とを有し、複数の繊維を含む不織ウェブを提供す るステップと、 b)液体一次塗布前駆物質を起泡するステップと、 c)該ウェブの繊維に沿って該一次塗布前駆物質の実質的に均一なコーティン グが達成できるように、該起泡した一次塗布前駆物質を該ウェブの少なくとも該 第1の側面に塗布するステップと、 d)複数の微細研磨粒子を該ウェブの該第1の側面に吹き付けるステップであ って、実質的に均一な分布で該ウェブの該繊維に堆積する研磨粒子の曇りを形成 するように該粒子が吹き付けられるステップと、 e)該一次塗布前駆物質を硬化して、それによって、該研磨粒子を該ウェブへ 接着する固化した一次塗布前駆物質を形成するステップであって、該研磨粒子は 該固化した一次塗布の外表面から実質的に突出するステップと、 を含む研磨製品製造方法。 2.前記ステップd)は、出口を有する粒子吹付機で前記研磨粒子を吹き付け ることと、前記ウェブの前記第1の側面に垂直ではない方向に該出口の近傍に該 研磨粒子を方向づけることと、を含む請求項1記載の研磨製品製造方法。 3.前記研磨粒子を吹き付ける前に、該研磨粒子の供給を流動化して、該流動 化した研磨粒子/空気混合物を前記粒子吹付機に供給する更なるステップを含む 請求項2記載の研磨製品製造方法。 4.前記ステップd)は、前記粒子吹付機の出口に装着された粒子そらせ板で 前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項2記載の研磨製品製造方法。 5.前記ステップd)は、前記粒子吹付機の出口にあるスピニングプレートで 前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項2記載の研磨製品製造方法。 6.前記ステップb)は、ブロー比2:1〜99:1で前記一次塗布前駆物質 を起泡することを含む請求項1記載の研磨製品製造方法。 7.前記ステップb)は、ブロー比5:1〜21:1で前記一次塗布前駆物質 を起泡することを含む請求項6記載の研磨製品製造方法。 8.前記ステップd)の次に、二次塗布前駆物質を塗布した前記研磨粒子が前 記ウェブの前記繊維から実質的に突出するように前記一次塗布前駆物質及び該研 磨粒子を実質的に被覆するように液体二次塗布前駆物質を塗布して、その後、該 二次塗布前駆物質を硬化する更なるステップを含む請求項1記載の研磨製品製造 方法。 9.前記二次塗布前駆物質を、前記ウェブに塗布する前にブロー比2:1〜9 9:1で起泡する更なるステップを含む請求項8記載の研磨製品製造方法。 10.研磨製品を製造する方法であって、 a)第1の側面と第2の側面とを有し、複数の繊維を含む不織ウェブを提供す るステップと、 b)液体一次塗布前駆物質をブロー比2:1〜99:1で起泡するステップと 、 c)該ウェブの該繊維に沿って該一次塗布前駆物質の実質的に均一なコーティ ングが達成できるように、該起泡した一次塗布前駆物質を該ウェブの少なくとも 該第1の側面に塗布するステップと、 d)複数の微細研磨粒子を出口を有する粒子吹付機で吹き付けて、ウェブの第 1の側面に垂直な方向に出口の近傍に研磨粒子を方向づけるステップであって、 実質的に均一な分布で該ウェブの該繊維に堆積する研磨粒子の曇りを形成するよ うに該粒子が吹き付けられるステップと、 e)ブロー比2:1〜99:1で液体二次塗布前駆物質を起泡するステップと 、 f)該二次塗布前駆物質を塗布した該研磨粒子が該ウェブの該繊維から実質的 に突出するように該一次塗布前駆物質及び該研磨粒子を実質的に被覆するように 、該起泡した二次塗布前駆物質を塗布するステップと、 g)該一次塗布前駆物質と該二次塗布前駆物質とを硬化して、それによって、 該研磨粒子を該ウェブに接着する固化したコーティングを形成するステップと、 を含む研磨製品製造方法。 11.前記ステップf)の前に、前記一次塗布前駆物質を少なくとも部分的に 硬化する更なるステップを含む請求項10記載の研磨製品製造方法。 12.前記ステップb)はブロー比5:1〜21:1で前記一次塗布前駆物質 を起泡することを含み、前記ステップe)はブロー比5:1〜21:1で前記二 次塗布前駆物質を起泡することを含む請求項10記載の研磨製品製造方法。 13.前記研磨粒子を吹き付ける前に、該研磨粒子の供給を流動化して、該流 動化した研磨粒子/空気混合物を前記粒子吹付機に供給する更なるステップを含 む請求項10記載の研磨製品製造方法。 14.研磨製品を製造する方法であって、 a)第1の側面と第2の側面とを有し、複数の繊維を含む不織ウェブを提供す るステップと、 b)該ウェブの該繊維に沿って一次塗布前駆物質の実質的に均一なコーティン グが達成できるように、該一次塗布前駆物質該をウェブの少なくとも該第1の側 面に塗布するステップと、 c)複数の微細研磨粒子を出口を有する粒子吹付機で吹き付けて、該ウェブの 該第1の側面に垂直な方向に該出口の近傍に該研磨粒子を方向づけるステップで あつて、実質的に均一な分布で該ウェブの該繊維に堆積する研磨粒子の曇りを形 成するように該粒子が吹き付けられるステップと、 d)該一次塗布前駆物質を硬化して、それによって、該研磨粒子を該ウェブへ 接着する固化した一次塗布前駆物質を形成するステップであって、該研磨粒子は 該固化した一次塗布の外表面から実質的に突出するステップと、 を含む研磨製品製造方法。 15.前記ステップc)は、前記粒子吹付機の前記出口に装着された粒子そら せ板で前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項14記載の研磨製品製造方法 。 16.前記ステップc)は、前記粒子吹付機の前記出口にあるスピニングプレ ートで前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項14記載の研磨製品製造方法 。 17.前記ステップc)の次に、前記二次塗布前駆物質を塗布した前記研磨粒 子が前記ウェブの前記繊維から実質的に突出するように前記一次塗布前駆物質及 び前記研磨粒子を実質的に被覆するように該二次塗布前駆物質を塗布して、その 後該二次塗布前駆物質を硬化する更なるステップを含む請求項14記載の研磨製 品製造方法。 18.前記研磨粒子を吹き付ける前に、該研磨粒子の供給を流動化して、該流 動化した研磨粒子/空気混合物を前記粒子吹付機に供給する更なるステップを含 む請求項14記載の研磨製品製造方法。 19.研磨製品を製造する方法であって、 a)第1の側面と第2の側面とを有し、複数の繊維を含む不織ウェブを提供す るステップと、 b)液体一次塗布前駆物質を起泡するステップと、 c)該ウェブの該繊維に沿って該一次塗布前駆物質の実質的に均一なコーティ ングが達成できるように、該起泡した一次塗布前駆物質を該ウェブの少なくとも 該第1の側面に塗布するステップと、 d)複数の微細研磨粒子を該ウェブの該第1の側面に塗布するステップであっ て、該粒子はウェブの該繊維に沿って実質的に均一な分布で塗布されるステップ と、 e)該一次塗布前駆物質を硬化して、それによって、該研磨粒子を該ウェブに 接着する該固化した一次塗布を形成するステップであって、該研磨粒子は該固化 した一次塗布の外表面から実質的に突出するステップと、 を含む研磨製品製造方法。 20.前記ステップb)は、ブロー比2:1〜99:1で前記一次塗布前駆物 質を起泡することを含む請求項19記載の研磨製品製造方法。 21.前記ステップb)は、ブロー比5:1〜21:1で前記一次塗布前駆物 質を起泡することを含む請求項20記載の研磨製品製造方法。 22.前記ステップd)の次に、二次塗布前駆物質を塗布した前記研磨粒子が 前記ウェブの前記繊維から実質的に突出するように前記一次塗布前駆物質及び該 研磨粒子を実質的に被覆するように液体二次塗布前駆物質を塗布して、その後該 二次塗布前駆物質を硬化する更なるステップを含む請求項19記載の研磨製品製 造方法。 23.前記二次塗布前駆物質を、前記ウェブに塗布する前にブロー比2:1〜 99:1で起泡する更なるステップを含む請求項22記載の研磨製品製造方法。 24.研磨製品を製造する方法であって、 a)第1の側面と第2の側面とを有し、複数の繊維を含む不織ウェブを提供す るステップと、 b)液体一次塗布前駆物質を起泡するステップと、 c)該ウェブの該繊維に沿って該一次塗布前一惣質の実質的に均一なコーティ ングが達成できるように、該起泡した一次塗布前駆物質を該ウェブの少なくとも 該第1の側面に塗布するステップと、 d)複数の研磨粒子を該ウェブの該第1の側面に吹き付けるステップであって 、実質的に均一な分布で該ウェブの該繊維に堆積する研磨粒子の曇りを形成する ように該粒子が吹き付けられるステップと、 e)該一次塗布前駆物質を硬化して、それによって、該研磨粒子を該ウェブに 接着する該固化した一次塗布を形成するステップであって、該研磨粒子は固化し た該一次塗布の外表面から実質的に突出するステップと、 を含む研磨製品製造方法。 25.前記ステップd)は、出口を有する粒子吹付機で前記研磨粒子を吹き付 けることと、前記ウェブの第1の側面に垂直ではない方向に該出口の近傍に該研 磨粒子を方向づけることと、を含む請求項24記載の研磨製品製造方法。 26.前記研磨粒子を吹き付ける前に、該研磨粒子の供給を流動化して、該流 動化した研磨粒子/空気混合物を前記粒子吹付機に供給する更なるステップを含 む請求項25記載の研磨製品製造方法。 27.前記ステップd)は、前記粒子吹付機の前記出口に装着された粒子そら せ板で前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項26記載の研磨製品製造方法 。 28.前記ステップd)は、前記粒子吹付機の前記出口にあるスピニングプレ ートで前記研磨粒子を方向づけることを含む請求項27記載の研磨製品製造方法 。 29.前記ステップd)の次に、二次塗布前駆物質を塗布した前記研磨粒子が 前記ウェブの前記繊維から実質的に突出するように前記一次塗布前駆物質及び該 研磨粒子を実質的に被覆するように液体二次塗布前駆物質を塗布して、その後該 二次塗布前駆物質を硬化する更なるステップを含む請求項24記載の研磨製品製 造方法。 30.前記二次塗布前駆物質を、前記ウェブに塗布する前に起泡する更なるス テップを含む請求項29記載の研磨製品製造方法。
