Heading A4B A roller blind forming heat insulating means for a window comprises a sheet 1 of plastic wound on a roller 2 mounted in a casing 3 having a slot 4 through which the leading edge of the sheet is passed, guide members 12 attached to the window frame embracing the edges of the sheet and the leading edge of the sheet 1 carrying a stiffning member 18 with a sealing strip 21 and being securable to the window frame by plungers 24 engaging sockets 25. The slot 4 has felt strips 5 to form a seal and the guide members 12 are of rubber or plastic and form a seal with the sheet.
