Abstract

939,108. Shelving brackets. HARRIS & SHELDON (DISPLAY) Ltd. Sept. 14, 1961 [Sept. 14, 1960], No. 31622/60. Class 52 (5). A bracket 8 has two or more flat hooks 14 engaging in slots 10 in an upright 7 which is provided with rearwardly and forwardly projecting flanges 12, 11, the distance between the forward flanges 11 being equal to the thickness of the bracket 8. In assembly the bracket must initially be tilted to engage the uppermost double hook 14, 16 in its slot. The upright may be a single metal extrusion, rolled from a single sheet or formed from angle pieces riveted or spot welded to a flat metal slotted strip.
