Abstract

930,955. Shelving construction. A. J. BJERKE. May 3, 1962 [May 4, 1961], No. 17004/62. Class 52 (1). A shelving construction comprises a shelf 12 and supporting brackets 1 which have two flanges 3, 4, the flange 4 at its front end projecting beyond the flange 3 and having either a pin 10 to engage in a hole in the shelf or a hole to engage with a pin in the shelf. The flange 3 has a rounded end 11 so that the pin and hole can be engaged and the bracket or shelf then rotated about the pin until the end of the shelf fits between the flanges whereafter the shelf cannot be lifted from the bracket. The bracket has hooks 5 to engage slots in a vertical post.
