859,931. Spectacle frames. MECCANOPTICA LEONARDO S.p.A. June 17, 1958, No. 19409/58. Class 97(1) [Also in Group XXV] A spectacle frame comprises hinges for connecting the side arms 4 to the front piece 41, each of said hinges comprising two elements 1, 2 pivoted about a pin 3 element 2 carrying a block 6 having two intersecting plane faces 6a, 6b engageable by a cantilever spring 5 mounted on the element 1, the arrangement of the block and faces being such that, during use, spring 5 bears against face 6b when the side arm is in the closed position and against face 6a when in its open position. A projection 7 may be provided to contact the face 6c to prevent any further opening of the hinge.
