Abstract
1,136,815. Spectacles. MANUFACTURA DE ARMAZONES Y GAFAS S.A. Jan.24, 1966 [Feb.8, 1965], No.3111/66. Heading G2J. A spectacle frame has a rim 1 with a lug 5 thereon which is fitted into a socket in side member 3 such that holes 8 and 10 are aligned and secured by a retaining screw 11. The socket has a recess 15 to accommodate the adjacent rim. The member 3 may be articulated to an arm 4 by a hinge 17. The rim 1 may be split so as to give lugs 13, 14 which when held closed may retain the lens. Bridge members may be fixed to the rims in a similar manner Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown).
