Abstract

788,850. Manure spreaders. ROISER, J. Oct. 18, 1956, No. 31678/56. Class 6(1). A manure spreader comprising rotating drum spreaders to which manure is fed by means of a moving floor is characterized in that the spreaders are movable back and forth transversely to their longitudinal direction along the frontal area of the manure. As shown two spreaders 12 each rotate about a vertical axis and are provided with curved shroud plates 13. The spreaders 12 are mounted in a frame which is moved horizontally by means of a bellcrank lever 10 driven from a crank 8 which is driven by gearing from a tractor power shaft which also drives the spreaders by means of a shaft 4 provided with cardan joints 11. In a modification the spreaders may lie horizontally and may be reciprocated in a vertical direction.
