Abstract
742,426. Batteries. PERTRIX-UNION GES. Aug. 18, 1953 [Aug. 21, 1952], No. 22787/53. Class 53. A battery of cells stacked one upon another comprises frames 3 which may be moulded in one piece as shown in Fig. 3 or made in two parts 1, 2 secured together as in Fig. 1. The upper compartment 1 of each frame contains the elements of one cell namely a zinc electrode 7, electrolyte 6 and depolarizer electrode 5 and is of smaller diameter than the lower compartment 2 which fits over the upper compartment of the cell below as shown in Fig. 3.
