747,153. Lens mounts. SARABER, P. May 17, 1954 [July 9, 1953No. 14338/64. Class 97 (1). In a lens mount for a photographic camera in which processing movement of the lens is effected by rotation of a ring having screwthreaded engagement with the lens mount, to increase the focusing range the ring can be rotated through more than one complete revolution and carries a spiral range-scale on its periphery. As shown, the ring 1 has an external screw-thread 7 engaging an internal thread 4 on a member 5 to be mounted on the camera, and an internal screw-thread 8 engaged by a thread 9 on a tube 10 to which mountings of the lenses 2, 3 are screwed, so that rotation of the ring causes axial movement of the lenses. The range-scale 13 is carried by the outer surface of the ring 1. An iris diaphragm 16, operated by a rotatable ring 17, is provided.
