692,656. Rotary pump. LANGDON, A. G. March 13, 1952 [March 13, 1951], No. 6008/51. Class 110(ii) An eccentric rotor 9 has radial slots 15 containing roller vanes 14 which are supported on spindles 13 provided with end rings or bearings. The latter move through circular grooves in the casing end walls so that the rollers are kept in contact with the bore of the pumping chamber which is provided with inlet and outlet ports 4, 5. The rollers may be of metal, vulcanised rubber on a metal core or of plastic wood and have stub end shafts instead of through spindles.
