[Also in Group V] Biscuits are made of at least two layers of different dough by feeding strips of dough onto a moving sheet of dough, cutting away the bottom sheet lengthwise between the strips, cutting the composite dough transversely and baking the biscuits. The scrap resulting from cutting the bottom sheet is returned for re-use. In a modification, strips of second dough are laid on strips of first dough.
