An inflatable mattress has a pillow 1 and two-part body section 2, 2<SP>1</SP> the parts of which are interconnected by a transverse non-inflatable portion 3 serving as a hinge. Strap or like fastenings 4 enable the parts to be arranged to serve as a seat and back rest in alternative ways as shown.
