[Class 125(i)] A teat comprising a bottle neck engaging skirt 3, a bulbous portion 5a and a mouthpiece 2 is provided with internal ribs 4 at the forward end of the bulbous portion to produce a cushion effect if the mouthpiece is pressed towards the bottle neck during feeding. Ribs 6 may be provided to prevent collapse of the mouthpiece and ribs 7 to increase the grip of the skirt on the neck.
