638,736. Spyholes for doors. GUARDIAN DORSPI, Ltd. May 4, 1948, No. 12275. Convention date, May 20, 1947. [Class 20 (iii)] A spy hole attachment for a door comprises a framing A, adapted to be secured to the inside of the door D and formed internally with inner and outer slideways A<SP>1</SP> and C<SP>1</SP>, coincident apertures being provided through the inner and outer walls of the framing at the end of the slideways. The framing is mounted on the door so that the apertures coincide with a spyhole D<SP>1</SP> in the door. A transparent disc E mounted in slideway A<SP>1</SP> and an opaque disc G in slideway C<SP>1</SP>, can be slid to and fro from inside the door to cover or uncover the spyhole, disc E being held, whilst in the closed position, by a spring F, so arranged that it can be opened only from the inside of the door.
