Abstract
620,069. Lubricating-cans &c. METAL BOX CO., Ltd., and SOUTHGATE, R. G. Dec. 12, 1946, No. 36758. [Class 66] The spout 15 of an oil-can 10 or other liquid container passes through an opening in a screwcap 13 and is secured eccentrically to a disc 17 held by the cap 13 against the top of the neck 12 of the can or against a washer 18 thereon, so that when the cap is loosened, the disc 17 &c. may be turned to bring the opening 16 of the spout into or out of alignment with the delivery opening 14 in the top of the neck of the can so that on re-tightening the cap 13 oil may be dispensed or the can tightly sealed.
