520,946. Drums, cans &c. DRUMS, Ltd., and BATY, J. H. Nov. 3, 1938, No. 31908. [Class 66] A drum, can, keg or like vessel is provided with a reversible. spout 4 of thermo-plastic or thermo-hardening organic composition secured to the threaded neck 3 in both positions by the aid of a screwed collar 7 engaging one or other face of the flange 5, a washer 6 being interposed between the flange and the end of the neck. In the inverted position the collar 7 is screwed down upon a closure disc 8. The pouring end of the spout is provided with a press-cap closure 10 and a cellulose derivative &c. covering may be disposed over the inverted spout, the open end of the covering being engaged between the spout flange and the end of the neck.
