610,587. Gas burners. STOVES. Ltd., and RYDER, S. E. A. April 11, 1946, No. 11109. [Class 75(i)] A gas burner comprises a head 10 having an outwardly flared under surface 11 secured within the flared upper end of a tubular stem 14, spaces being left between the head and stem for the passage of gas, The under surface 11 may be presented by a casting or a sheet metal stamping or spinning secured to the head 10, which may be a casting or stamping, by screws or by a spring ring 12 engaging in a groove in the flared lower lip of the head 10, or alternatively the head and under surface may be in the form of a solid casting. The head 10 may be provided with castellations 13 for the passage of gas and be supported on a stove by projecting lugs of the head. The stem 14 has a flared lower end 16 to receive a gas pipe end 17, air passing up between spacing fins 19.
