[Class 35] [Also in Group XXVIII] In a diaphragm pump, an electric coil attached to the diaphragm is vibrated by electric impulses while floating in the gap of a magnetic system. A diaphragm b carries an electric coil e excited by an alternating current and disposed in the field of a magnet through the turns of which a direct current passes.
