580,830. Combined coal and dust receptacles. WATTON, H. F. Oct. 30, 1944, No. 21144. [Class 26] [Also in Group X] A combined coal and dust bin to stand against the outside wall of a building has a front portion which can project through an opening in the wall, in which projecting portion there are openings accessible from the inside of the building so that coal can be taken from the bin through one such opening and dust or floor sweepings can be put into the bin through another such opening. In Fig. 2 the bin is shown divided by a partition 7 into an upper compartment 9 for coal and a lower compartment 10 for dust. Compartment 9 is filled through a flap 14 from outside the building and emptied through a door 5 from inside the building. Dust is swept into the compartment 10, through a door 6, from inside the building, and falls into a box 12, which can be removed through a door 13.
