Abstract
572,015. Hand powder-sprays. KARK, C. L. Oct. 2, 1943, No. 16186. Convention date, Oct. 19, 1942. [Class 18] [Also in Group VI] A hand powder-spray, e.g. for projecting medicated powders on to the body, comprises an air injection bulb &c. 15 communicating at 14 with a cavity 11 in the body 17 of the article, an exit channel 12 communicating with the cavity 11 at a point laterally displaced with respect to the inlet 14. Variation in the rate of delivery may be effected by turning the powder-spray until the mouth of the exit 12 is no longer beneath the surface of the powder in the cavity. An indicating arrow may be positioned on the removable end 4 to indicate the orientation of the apparatus. The front and back walls of the cavity may be parallel instead of converging as shown.
