A conveyer for lumps or granular material comprises a closed conduit of circular crosssection having inlet and outlet openings, a continuous or endless chain, and spaced drag plungers secured to the chain and of elliptical cross-section. The description and drawings are identical with those of Specification 548,587, but the claims differ.
