Abstract

506,414. Cycle &c. lamps. KOHNS, C. Aug. 24, 1937, No. 23222. Void. Convention date, Aug. 24,1936. [Class 75 (iv)] A front lamp for a cycle or other vehicle is provided on both sides with means for redirect ing part of the light emitted by a single light source downwardly or to the rear of the vehicle and the ground behind it. In the form shown the casing 1 is formec with openings 5 over which are fitted casings 3, 4 each carrying a plane reflector 6 and a lens 7. The reflector 6 may be concave, or replaced by one or more lenses or prisms, any of which may be adjustably mounted, and the lens 7 may be replaced by a plane disc. The rearwardly directed light may be coloured red by means of an additional red glass disc, or by means of a red coloured reflector, prism, or lens.
