Abstract

345,360. Vehicle &c. lamps. MATES, T., 250, Walton Breck Road, Liverpool. Nov. 29, 1929, No. 24923/28. [Class 75 (iv).] In a vehicle or other lamp the casing A is divided into two parts a<1>, a<2> in communication with each other, an electric lamp bulb B or other source of light being secured in the forward end of the part a<1>, which has a metal or other opaque front a<5>, so that the bulb B is screened from the front and the rays of light are first projected rearwardly on to a main reflector a<3> at the back of the main part a2 and thence forwardly through a glazed front a4 hinged or otherwise detachably secured to the part a<2>. The part a<2> may be provided with a forwardly projecting hood C and the bulb B may be adjustably mounted within a reflector b<2>. The reflector b2 may be supported by means of a bracket part b<1> and the reflector a<3> may be mounted in a housing a<6> removably secured to the rear of the part a<2>.
