[Class 110 (iii)] Reaction ahead turbine A and impulse astern turbine B mounted in one casing are separated by a diaphragm 8 and a dummy 11 and the intermediate space F is connected either to the condenser as described in the parent Specification or to an intermediate expansion stage. The diunmy cylinder 14 is carried by a more or less radial wall 18. A central pocket 22 in the diaphragm packing leads to a duct 23 which is connected to the condenser or an intermediate expansion stage.
