419,897. Fastenings. NEWMAN & SONS, Ltd., W., and SHEAD, H. C., 268, Hospital Street, Birmingham. Aug. 28, 1933, No. 23805. [Class 44.] Means for preventing actuation of a latch bolt comprises a spring-pressed cam-actuated blocking member 16. The heel 11<a> of the member 16 blocks either the follower 9 or the bolt 1. The cam is key actuated and is formed with a stop 20 which engages with the hooked end 21 of the member 16. The latch is operated from the other side of the door by a crush-bar.
