Abstract

407,958. Corset and like stiffeners. MOSS, E. M. W., 62, Bramhall Lane, Stockport, Cheshire. Aug. 19, 1932, No. 23247. [Class 141.] Stiffeners are made with corrugations 5 in a direction inclined to the length, and such corrugations may be arranged. All on the same side or on alternately on either side. Depressions 6 which may be of an oval dome like shape, may be added to the stiffener to resist flexure. The end caps 7 may be sprung over a depression or corrugation when they are near the end of a stiffener.
