Abstract
330,480. Headley, F. H. Oct. 9, 1929. Perambulators; folding vehicles.-A perambulator comprises an upper frame adapted to be folded down on to the lower frame by operation of the handle, an extension adapted to be locked in position to accommodate a recumbent child, or to be lowered to act as a foot-rest or to be partially collapsed by operation of the handle. The upper frames b is held by toggle links c, d, which are operatively connected to the handle i to collapse the upper frame. An extension e comprising a triangular structure e<2>, e<3>, e' is pivoted to the under frame a and also comprises an upper frame e' connected by a link e<5> to the member b<1> of the frame b. Folding of the handle i lawers the member b<1>, and collapses the frame e<7> on to the lower part e<2>, as shown in Fig. 4. The extension c is held in either of the positions shown in Figs. 1 and 3 by links f, f<1>. Specification 330,454 is referred to.
