Abstract

300,540. Thompson, J. H. Nov. 14, 1927, [Convention date]. Pots.-A teapot is provided with an infusion chamber 8 depending from its mouth flange 5a, the finely perforated wall 10 of the chamber proceeding gradually downwardly from circular cross-section at the top to non-circular, for example approximately elliptical, cross-section at the bottom 11 which is closed. A handle 12 for rotating the infuser may be secured to the flange on its upper portion. A strainer 15 may be provided at the base of the spout 13.
