Abstract
269,306. Clark, D. S. March 17, 1926. Pots.-The lid of a teapot, coffee-pot, or like vessel has a perforated forwardly-projecting part h, Fig. 2, serving as a strainer, adapted to lie within the spout f, which is preferably formed with inwardly projecting side cheeks or baffles g. 'The lid, which may be separate from or hinged to the vessel, is secured closed either by a rotatable bar j having recessed ends m adapted to engage under the interrupted mouth flange c, when turned by means of the knob l, or by indentations p, Fig. 5, formed in a flange r and yieldingly engageable beneath a continuous mouth flange.
