Padlock.-A lock for vehicle steering gear in which two concentric tubes are used comprises two members e carrying pins f adapted to pass into holes f<1> in the tubes. A T-shaped bolt h urged upwardly by a spring i engages lugs d on the members e when these are pressed into locking position against a spring g. The key fits on a stud l and to open the lock engages an arm m, Fig. 4, on the bolt h.
