Abstract

193,194. Neate, F. W. Dec. 12, 1921. Hasp fastenings.-An arm 21, pivoted at 22 to the upper sash 4 of a window so as to swing in a vertical plane, engages teeth on an upstanding lug 28 on the lower sash and is held in engagement therewith by the action of a spring 30 mounted on the arm. An abutment 26 acts as a fulcrum for the arm to force the sashes to closed pisition, and a V-shaped projection 34 engages the front of the abutment, drawing the two sashes together.
