Abstract

28,279. Schwarzhaupt, W. Dec. 5. Vaporizers, atmospheric.-A vaporizer for disinfectants &c. comprises a perforated tube 2 containing a wick 4 surrounding a detachable glass core 3, and connected by means of a channel 7 with a reservoir tube 1 closed at the top so that a constant level of liquid is maintained in the open tube. The apparatus is mounted in a spring holder 8 pivoted about a pin 14 so that the tubes may be turned to an horizontal position for filling through the aperture 9. The wick 4 may be star-shaped in cross-section, and a drop-wick 10 may be added if desired.
