Abstract

23,260. Schreitmiller, K. Nov. 14, 1907, [date applied for under Section 91 of Patents &c. Act, 1907]. Rackets.-The stringing of a lawn tennis or like racket consists of separate sections the ends of which are secured in clamping-cones f, Fig. 3, fitting into sockets e in the frame. The clamping- cones are provided with slots g and are screwed to afford a gripping-surface for the string. A yoke k, Fig. 4; may be temporarily applied to the frame and the string tightened by turning a peg m which may be provided with a locking or pawl attachment.
