Small chambers; heating-fittings; suspending- devices.-A cabinet A for drying clothes or other materials is heated by the insulation of air &c. in an inner chamber 21. The Figure shows only the lower parts of the drying chamber and of a movable rack 19 for supporting clothes. Air, heated by means of steam-pipes, electric coils or gas-burners in a heater arranged at the side of the drier, enters the chamber 21 at the middle of one of its longer sides and is directed by a baffle 25 towards the end 22b and thence in a circuitous path to the flue 24. The moist air from the drying chamber'is drawn into the flue through openings 30 in a vent-box 29. Specification 199,835 is referred to.
