Motor power plant.-In power plant consisting of an internal-combustion engine and a steam power installation comprising reciprocating-engines or turbines, steam is generated by the waste heat of the internal-combustion engine, from the water in the cooling-jacket, at a lower pressure than the boiler pressure, and is led to an intermediate stage of the steam installation. The internal-combustion engine works with a combustion pressure of from 18 to 28 atmospheres.
