Abstract

1431534 Window winding apparatus H T GOLDE GmbH 15 March 1974 [16 March 1973] 11655/74 Heading E2M In a window winding apparatus, a flexible threaded cable 18 of a window winder is slidably guided in a tube 15 provided with a longitudinal slot 20 and the cable 18 is connected by means of a peg 21 and an attached moulded block 22 to the threaded cable 18 such that the moulded block 22 engages a slider 7 connected to the window pane 2 by means of a lifting bar 13 and batten 14. The window is opened by means of a hand lever 17 and the slider 7 is moved downwardly to open the window. A flange 6 of a central guide rail 4 is orientated vertically of the window pane 2 and serves as a guide for the slider with the assistance of sliding shoes 8 affixed to the slider 7. The block 22 and a transmission opening 28 in the slider 7 are so dimensioned that there is little or no play between these components in the direction of the axis of the threaded cable 18 in order to prevent backlash of the window winder whereas, transversely to the axis of the threaded cable there is sufficient play provided in the opening 28 to take account of any twist of the longitudinal slot.
