Abstract
140,956. George, W. J., and Bircumshaw, L. July 12, 1919. Cranks.-Fly-wheels fur internal-combustion engines have their shaft and crank-pin bosses split radially and drawn together by bolts. The central part of the wheel is cut away at 9 to accommodate the bolt heads and nuts, and the rim has openings 8 through which the bolts are introduced.
