Abstract
1476173 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems LASER ENG Ltd 8 Aug 1975 [14 May 1974] 21359/74 Heading G3P An electro-hydraulic servovalve comprises an armature 40 adjustably mounted on a resilient support 41 and pivotal relative to jets 37, 38 mounted in hollow polepieces 35, 36 surrounded by coils 33, 34. Fluid is supplied to the polepiece interiors via port 12, filter 16 and restrictors 19, 20, differential energization of coils 33, 34 causing tilting of armature 40 and a change of relative pressures in passages 17, 18. Spool 6 is thus displaced to control flow from port 12 to one or other work port 14 while the other port 14 is vented to drain port 13. Adjustment of armature 40 is effected by a screw 42 within bridge piece 43. The armature is stablized by spaced spring pins 44. The jets 37, 38 may be adjustably threaded in the polepieces 35, 36. A permanent magnet may be located in bore 45.
